Grade/content-specific professional learning communities
The ability to pull content and grade-level specific educators is critical to ensuring developing consistency of practice and expectation across the District. Aligning schedules so that specific groups of educators share common planning times across all cluster level buildings saves the cost of paying staff to attend such meetings after school hours, or miss valuable instructional time with students when providing substitutes for such events. Providing such opportunities to develop standards and consistency of practice will ensure that all students have access to the same high quality educational experience regardless of school site.
